DESCRIPTION
The CAR-15 XM177 or also known as the CAR-15 Commando was a part of a special forces call out designed in 1966 in response to the US military’s desire for a compact M16 variant during Vietnam War for jungle warfare to improve on the inadequacies of some of the previous shortened M16 types.
This TYPE-A Blood Diamond is built on an accurate fixed carry handle upper with options for an A2 style or C7 depending on user preference. Built with proven mil-spec components to make it an incredibly versatile rifle. The Blood Diamond is equipped with a 10.5″ 4150 Valium steel barrel with an modified XM-177 muzzle. It’s also equipped with a 7 hole classic clamshell handguard, A2 grip, and CAR15 style stock. The TYPE-A Blood Diamond is driven by our TYPE-A QPQ bolt carrier group w/R.E.M Polish. Equipped with a DGI (direct gas impingement) system and our new TYPE-A PMC Straight 2-stage trigger to give it consistent reliability time after time.
