Armalite's ar-50a1b is a single shot bolt action rifle chambered for the powerful 50 bmg cartridge, and features a unique octagonal receiver bedded down into a v-shaped stock.Designed to be an economical answer for the challenge of long range shooting, the ar-50a1 is amazingly accurate and with its massive muzzle brake, it has a very manageable recoil.It has a 30" heavy profile chrome moly barrel, multi-flute recoil check muzzle device, and shilen standard single-stage trigger with an approximate 5-pound pull.The 3-section stock has an extruded forend, machined grip with a vertical grip, and a removable buttstock, allowing for increased portability when traveling.The front sight base has a modified octagonal form, grilled and slotted for mil-std 1913 scope rail with boss to engage cross-slot on the receiver.The ar-50a1 has black hard anodized aluminum and manganese phosphated steel finishes.It includes a 15-minute sight base and ear plugs.This ggg model includes the extremely rugged and versatile gg&g bipod.
